Ryan Taylor is an action sports photographer and commercial director/cinematographer, splitting time between the west coast and the midwest. Utilizing both motion and still photography, he strives to create something new and unique every time he shoots. This often means implementing new lighting techniques as well as working with athletes to think of new creative ways to showcase their sports. This has led to projects involving a giant wakeboarding rail carved out of ice, snowboarding in a corn field, BMX in an abandoned football stadium, and sending wakeskaters through a field of cranberries.
This has allowed Ryan to work with various clients, including, Arc'teryx, BF Goodrich Tires, Burton Snowboards, Chumash Casino, Gander Mountain, Indian Motorcycles, Liquid Force Wakeboards, Moomba Boats, Polaris, Red Bull, Scheels Sports, Slingshot Sports, Supra, Target, and Volcom.
